Privacy Policy

Splitmark Stopwatch does not require an account or registration. There is no analytics script installed by default. Stopwatch and countdown calculations run locally in the visitor’s browser. Timing data is not transmitted to a remote service by this site.

What runs in the browser

Elapsed time, laps, split comparisons, countdown remaining time, copy-to-clipboard, and CSV export are handled on your device. A CSV file is created locally when you choose Export CSV. Clipboard copy places session text on the clipboard only after you select Copy Results.

localStorage

If your browser allows it, the site may store a small set of timing preferences:

• splitmark-sound — whether the countdown tone checkbox is enabled (1 or 0).
• splitmark-countdown-h, splitmark-countdown-m, splitmark-countdown-s — the last hours, minutes, and seconds entered in the countdown fields.

Lap history is kept in memory for the current page session. It is not written to localStorage. Closing the tab clears recorded laps.

Clear saved session data

Use the control below to remove the stored preference keys from this browser. It does not affect other websites.
