About Splitmark Stopwatch

Splitmark Stopwatch provides independent browser-based timing tools and practical guides for everyday time measurement. The site is a utility, not a coaching service, subscription product, or certified laboratory.

The main instrument is an online stopwatch that measures elapsed time, records laps, and keeps a split ledger in the current tab. A separate countdown timer covers sessions where the duration is already known. Guides explain how to read the table, when to count down instead of up, and why hundredths on a screen are not the same as calibrated accuracy.

All calculations run locally in the visitor’s browser. Timing data is not sent to a remote service. Optional preferences, such as countdown sound and the last entered duration, can be stored in localStorage on this device and cleared from the privacy policy page.
